Taco Bell Is Launching Three New Coffee Flavors

"Let's meet at Taco Bell for coffee," nobody says. Tacos? Obvi. Nachos? Of course. But coffee? Do they sell coffee? Does coffee go with tacos?

Taco Bell says coffee goes with peanut butter and jelly tacos. The chain serves premium hot coffee, ordinary iced coffee, iced cinnamon coffee

(Iced Cinnabon Delights), and its popular taco-drink combinations of Cherry Bliss Freeze, Baja Blast, and Pepsi.

According to Thrillist, Taco Bell is testing three new iced coffee tastes in Fresno, Calif., and Philadelphia, Pa. The chain is adding Dulce de Leche,

Mexican Chocolate Mocha, and Sweet Vanilla to their premium roast coffee. A big cup of the new coffee costs $2.99.

Taco Bell's coffee innovation had lagged behind its competitors (its only out-of-the-box offering was the Cinnabon Delights, added to the menu

in March), but the chain appears to be trying to up its breakfast game, which has become an integral part of the fast-food industry.

From January to August 2022, fast-food chain breakfast traffic climbed by 2% but lunch traffic declined by 3%, according to NPD Group

statistics. Taco Bell is trying to compete with its competitors in the coffee department, which is essential to breakfast.

Breakfast at Taco Bell includes Cinnabon Delights, breakfast quesadillas, and breakfast burritos.
